In celebration of the founding day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26, and to create a healthy playground for interaction, connection, and to enhance the spirit of unity among youth members, Eastern International University (EIU) organised the EIU Youth Camp with the theme “Aspiration – Creativity – Integration – Development”. The event was sponsored by Becamex IDC Corporation and Becamex Tokyu Co., Ltd.
Participants from various departments not only collaborated in decorating the camp entrance but also engaged in experiencing and enjoying various attractive food stalls, fully participating in team games, and immersing themselves in the vibrant music atmosphere during the EIU’S GOT TALENT finale night.
At the conclusion of the Youth Camp, the School of Engineering’s youth group won the first prize for the best-decorated entrance, the Becamex Business School’s group won the second prize, and the School of Nursing and School Information Technology Departments’ groups shared the third prize.

As part of the Youth Camp, EIU also honoured and awarded certificates to 11 groups and 31 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the Youth Union activities and youth movements of the school in 2023. The award ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Phuc Hau – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Government and Enterprises Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Le Ngoc Long – Secretary of the University Youth Union, Ms. Tu Thi Hong Diep – Deputy Secretary of the University Youth Union, along with members of the Permanent Committee and the Executive Committee of the University Youth Union.
The award program not only recognized the achievements of individuals, clubs, and teams in academics, sports, entertainment, and community service but also contributed to the development of the quantity and quality of clubs and teams within the University.
Mr. Nguyen Le Ngoc Long, Secretary of the University Youth Union, stated: “Looking back on a year of continuous effort, the Youth Union work and youth movement of EIU students have been rated as excellent, receiving a commendation from the Provincial Youth Union’s Permanent Committee. The University had one group and four individuals receiving Commendation Letters from the Youth Union Block. In 2024, EIU and the University Youth Union Board will continue to implement various activities and movements for youth, providing opportunities for members, youth, and students to participate, learn, train, and contribute to the community.”
