On February 27, 2024, the delegation from Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan, visited and worked with the Eastern International University (EIU) to discuss cooperation opportunities in medical education, scientific research, and student exchange.
During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi, the Chairman of the University Council, discussed potential future collaborations, particularly in enhancing the quality of the nursing and medical faculty, contributing to the university’s mission of excellence in teaching and learning. Both parties also agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in scientific research and create opportunities for students from both institutions to participate in exchange programs to learn and gain more knowledge and experience.

On this occasion, the delegation from Chung Shan Medical University also toured the learning environment at EIU and learned about the Becamex Ecosystem – one of the model ecosystems playing a crucial role in the socio-economic development of Binh Duong Province. Mr. Chien-Ning Huang, the President of Chung Shan Medical University, was very impressed with EIU’s learning model closely linked to practical experience and expressed confidence in the future cooperation between the two institutions.
