Scholarship Value: 20,000,000 VND

This scholarship will be awarded to students in the form of a voucher to be used for tuition fees during their studies at EIU.

Eligible recipients:

Candidates graduating from high school in 2024 who are admitted to EIU for the 2024 admissions period from the following groups:

a) Candidates who have achieved in national or international academic competitions, and whose subject of achievement is included in the admission combinations of the School (A00, A01, B00, D01).

b) Candidates who have won awards in national or international science and technology competitions, and whose project topic is related to the fields of study offered by the School.

c) Candidates who have won first, second, or third place in provincial or city-level excellent student selection exams or olympiads, and whose subject of achievement is included in the admission combinations of the School (A00, A01, B00, D01).

d) Candidates with a total score of 24 points or higher in the three subjects of the 2024 national high school graduation exam, within one of the School’s admission combinations (A00, A01, B00, D01), including priority points.

e) Candidates with a score from the 2024 National University of Ho Chi Minh City’s Competency Assessment of 850/1200 points or higher.

1. A 100% tuition fee scholarship for four years of professional studies in the university program.
2. An English language scholarship valued at 47,500,000 VND for 1,000 hours of English instruction with native speakers at the School.
3. This scholarship will be awarded to students in the form of a voucher to be used for tuition fee payments during their studies at EIU.

Scholarship recipients:

Candidates who graduated from high school in 2024 and were admitted to the fields of Engineering, Information Technology, and Nursing at EIU for the 2024 admission period fall under the following categories:

a) Candidates who have achieved in national or international academic competitions, and whose subjects of excellence are included in the combinations considered for admission by the School (A00, A01, B00, D01).

b) Candidates who have won prizes in national or international science and engineering competitions, with projects related to the fields of study offered by the School.

c) Candidates who have won first, second, or third place in provincial or city-level academic excellence or Olympic competitions, and whose subjects are included in the combinations considered for admission by the School (A00, A01, B00, D01).

d) Candidates whose total scores in three subjects of the 2024 high school graduation exam belong to one of the combinations considered for admission by the School (A00, A01, B00, D01) and reach 24 points or higher (including priority points).

e) Candidates with excellent academic performance and good conduct in grade 12; with an average grade in Mathematics for the entire year of grade 12 of 8.0 or higher (for Nursing, an average grade of 8.0 or higher in Mathematics, Biology, or Chemistry for the entire year of grade 12).

f) Candidates with excellent academic performance and good conduct in grade 11; with an average grade in Mathematics over three semesters (Semester 1 and 2 of grade 11 and Semester 1 of grade 12) of 8.0 or higher (for Nursing, an average grade of 8.0 or higher in Mathematics, Biology, or Chemistry over three semesters).

g) Candidates who score 850/1200 points or higher in the 2024 VNU-HCM’s competency assessment exam

Scholarship maintenance conditions:

a) Students commit not to request a transfer out of the announced major field of study for which they were admitted and awarded the scholarship;

b) In the first and second year, students must take the number of credits according to the training program (excluding credits for remedial courses, specially graded courses, and non-credit courses). If a student fails to meet this condition in any semester, the scholarship will be suspended in the immediately following semester;

c) Students must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) at the end of each semester. If this condition is not met in any semester, the scholarship will be suspended in the immediately following semester; students who have their scholarship suspended but achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 in any subsequent semester will automatically have their scholarship reinstated;

d) Students without an IELTS score of 6.0 must follow the English language track prescribed by the School. Within two years from the start of their studies, students must obtain an international English certificate with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the scholarship being suspended from the third year of study. If a student submits an international English certificate with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 in any subsequent semester, the scholarship will automatically be reinstated.

2. Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship:

Female candidates graduating from high school in 2024 who are admitted to the following majors: Mechatronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (*).

3. Scholarship Maintenance Conditions:

3.1. Students commit not to request a transfer out of the announced major field of study for which they were admitted and awarded the scholarship.

3.2. The 50% professional study tuition fee scholarship is valid for four academic years (excluding credits for improvement courses, courses seeking special grading, and non-credit courses).

3.3. The English language scholarship, valued at 47,500,000 VND, is applicable to a maximum of 1,000 hours of English instruction at the School (excluding the second-time re-taking of levels).
