The signing ceremony between Eastern International University (EIU) and the School of Architecture, Khon Kaen University (ARCH-KKU) took place this morning (December 3) with the participation of leaders from both institutions.
Leaders from both institutions signed the MOU
According to the signed MOU, EIU and ARCH-KKU have agreed to implement a range of collaborative programs and activities in the near future, including: developing and launching internship and exchange programs for students and lecturers; organizing or co-hosting international seminars and conferences; and jointly conducting scientific research in areas of mutual expertise.
Dr. Ngo Minh Duc (standing), President of EIU, delivered a welcome speech to the delegation from ARCH-KKU.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi, Chairman of EIU, shared insights during the MOU signing ceremony.
In 2025, EIU will celebrate 15 years of establishment and development. With its mission to ‘Enhance Knowledge – Serve the Community,’ the university remains committed to its vision of providing high-quality education combined with practical experiences, excelling in interdisciplinary research, and fostering strong connections with businesses and the community. On this journey, alongside education and scientific research, EIU has been expanding partnerships with educational institutions worldwide, including those in the United States, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, India, and Thailand.
Dr. Kitapatr Dhabhalabutr, Dean of the School of Architecture at Khon Kaen University, presented an overview of ARCH-KKU during the event.
In Thailand, KKU is one of EIU’s key partners in establishing strategic and sustainable collaborations. To strengthen educational cooperation and promote international student exchange, EIU and KKU signed an MOU on November 1, 2023. Previously, on November 2, 2022, EIU had also signed a memorandum of understanding with KKU’s School of Public Administration, aiming to foster collaboration in human resource exchange, academic materials and information sharing, and the organization of joint workshops and research programs.
As part of the program, the ARCH-KKU delegation toured EIU’s facilities, including practice rooms, laboratories, and the learning environment.
It is evident that EIU and KKU share similarities in vision and development direction in training high-quality human resources. This serves as an important foundation for implementing and expanding collaborative activities between the two institutions, thereby creating significant value for students and the community.
