Signing a Cooperation Agreement on Student Exchange Programs with Asia University, Japan

The signing ceremony took place on October 22, as part of EIU’s working visit to Japan from October 20 to 24, led by Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi, Chairman of the University Council.

EIU Leadership and AU Leadership Sign Cooperation Agreement on Student Exchange Programs

Under the agreement, Asia University (AU) committed to sending students annually from February to March to EIU to study English and learn about Vietnamese culture through collaborative cultural exchange activities. In return, EIU will host AU students for internships at the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center (IIC), the Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC), Becamex Tokyu, and Becamex Hotel. Additionally, online academic exchanges in Business Administration are among the discussed and agreed-upon activities to be implemented soon.

Building on the success of the agreement with Asia University (AU), EIU continued its working visit in Japan by meeting with Tokyo City University (TCU), Tokyo University of Technology (TUT), and ARIS, a cybersecurity company. During these meetings, EIU shared with its partners details about ongoing and upcoming engineering projects.

At TCU, both institutions agreed to expand their online sharing programs, focusing on the topic of the circular economy. In the near future, EIU plans to send students to participate in a 1–2 week exchange program at TCU. Conversely, TCU will organize programs for its students to come to EIU to study English and engage in internships at EIU’s projects and partner enterprises.

Discussions with TUT leadership resulted in agreements to implement online academic exchanges for faculty and students, expand collaboration across other departments, and move toward signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the institutional level. TUT students are also expected to come to EIU to participate in internship projects.

On this occasion, the EIU delegation visited advanced laboratories at various institutions and engaged in in-depth exchanges with experts to gain insights and experience in teaching and research.

EIU Strengthens International Cooperation in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan

In 2025, EIU will celebrate its 15th anniversary, marking its commitment to developing high-quality human resources in Binh Duong. Alongside its focus on education and research, EIU actively expands partnerships across diverse fields, both domestically and internationally. One notable milestone in this effort was EIU’s working visit to Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, from October 20 to 21. During the visit, the delegation met with Yamaguchi Prefectural University, Yamaguchi University, and Yamaguchi University Hospital.

Over two days of discussions, EIU and its partners agreed to implement several cooperative programs, including:Hosting Japanese international students at EIU for English training and internships in major projects at IIC and AMC; Sending EIU lecturers and students for practical training at educational institutions of Yamaguchi Prefectural University and Yamaguchi University; Strengthening cooperation in developing Engineering training programs.
