Organizing the vision alignment program with the topic “International Experience at EIU”

On the afternoon of February 26, Eastern International University (EIU) hosted its regular Vision Alignment session under the theme “International Experience at EIU”, drawing strong participation from leaders, lecturers, and staff.

This Vision Alignment program is organized to recognize the 15 years of EIU’s contributions in building sustainable global educational values. At the same time, the International Cooperation Department, along with faculty members and specialists from related departments, has shaped and elevated the international educational experience for students, lecturers, and the community, aiming for a future of sustainable and creative development. Accordingly, each lecturer and staff member at EIU will strive to encourage and support students on their journey to becoming global citizens, where challenges are accompanied by opportunities and exciting experiences.

At the program, the Office of International Affairs summarized the achievements in international cooperation activities of EIU in 2024 and shared the university’s international cooperation goals and strategies for 2025. Specifically, EIU will enhance internship, practical training, and project programs in Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, as well as attract experiential learning programs and research projects from international partners such as the National University of Singapore, Jeju National University, Asia University, Khon Kaen University, Singapore Polytechnic, and Nanyang Polytechnic. This will create opportunities for professional and cultural exchange, as well as improve the international cooperation capabilities of students.

With the goal that by 2030, at least 50% of students will engage in at least one international activity during their time at EIU, the university is working closely with international partners to expand interdisciplinary experiential learning programs, field trips, and community projects. EIU is also reviewing and updating its academic programs to better support students in gaining valuable experience throughout their studies.

International collaboration plays a pivotal role in enhancing educational quality, expanding career opportunities, and fostering the holistic development of students. Through these programs, EIU students are exposed to diverse cultures, international teaching methods, and research approaches.
