In the atmosphere of the year-end days, this morning (January 25), Eastern International University (EIU) organized the “0 VNĐ Bus Trip” program to support students in returning to their hometowns to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025.

With sponsorship from VSIP Nghe An, the program has taken students from Binh Duong to distant provinces such as Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen, Binh Đinh, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Đa Nang, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An. This initiative reflects corporate social responsibility, as businesses join hands with education to support students studying far from home, ensuring a more secure journey back to their families.
Founded by Becamex IDC Corp., Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Co., Ltd. (VSIP), and Binh Duong Business & Development Joint Stock Company (Becamex TDC), Eastern International University (EIU) has become an ideal academic destination with state-of-the-art facilities and an international-standard learning environment. Beyond its strong focus on academic excellence, EIU is deeply committed to student welfare. Thanks to these efforts, the university has attracted many students from across the country in recent years, further reinforcing its prestige and reputation among students and parents alike.

EIU gives Tet gifts to students
With excitement, Nguyen Đuc Thien, a student from the School of Computing and Information Technology, shared: “My hometown is in Nghe An, so I was quite worried about finding transportation home this Tet due to the long journey. My family and I are pleased that the university has provided this opportunity for me to return home. I was even more surprised when the Youth Union gifted me a Tet present before boarding the bus. I’m truly touched and grateful to the university.”
The “0 VNĐ Bus Trip” program, along with other student support activities, remains a key focus in EIU’s strategy for student welfare. This program not only helps students from across the country feel the university’s care and dedication, but also creates the conditions for them to study with peace of mind, gain new experiences, and develop themselves comprehensively.
