Opening Ceremony of the “EIU Open Day 2025”

At Eastern International University (EIU), over 1,600 high school students from provinces and cities participated in the “EIU Open Day 2025” Discovery Festival organized by EIU this morning (January 4).

The “EIU Open Day 2025” is held over four days (January 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2025) and is expected to welcome more than 7,000 students from over 80 high schools across 12 provinces nationwide. This includes approximately 2,900 students from Binh Duong Province and over 4,000 students from other provinces such as Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, and An Giang.

The event aims to provide students and parents with an in-depth understanding of EIU’s establishment and development process; offer valuable information to help students choose their future careers; introduce advanced, high-quality academic programs and the unique values EIU provides for its learners. Additionally, it creates an opportunity for students to explore the university’s facilities, learning environment, and surrounding amenities, as well as interact with various faculties and current students.

The “EIU Open Day 2025” Discovery Festival has recorded the highest number of student and teacher participants compared to all previous “EIU Open Day” programs organized by the university. This demonstrates the growing interest and increasing brand recognition of EIU among high school students and teachers from various provinces and cities, especially in the context of the university celebrating its 15th anniversary this year (2010–2025).

On the first day of the festival, through consulting activities in the hall, students and teachers updated more information and knowledge surrounding current and future career trends. It is forecasted that human resources in the context of industry 4.0 is and will boom strongly in Binh Duong province in particular and the Southeast region in general. The School also introduces new points to note about admission methods and admission combinations suitable for students graduating from the 2018 general education program, with more opportunities for candidates to choose admission combinations. And in particular, the school’s tuition fees are very suitable for the economic conditions of most Vietnamese families. Tuition fees do not change throughout the student’s course upon admission.

Within the program’s framework, students and teachers explored and discovered EIU’s learning environment, including the library, classrooms, Fablab (Fabrication Laboratory), STEM Education Center, Industry 4.0 Innovation Center (IIC), Sembcorp-EIU Sustainable Solutions Center, Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC), Cybersecurity Center, and other facilities around Binh Duong New City.

Tomorrow (January 5), EIU will welcome nearly 2,000 more high school students from Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, An Giang, and Dong Thap provinces to participate in the “EIU Open Day 2025” Discovery Festival.
