Multiple collaborative initiatives between A*STAR and ARTC to be implemented at EIU

On August 13, Mr. Frederick Chew, CEO of A*STAR Singapore, along with delegates from A*STAR and ARTC, visited and held discussions at EIU. Dr. Ngô Minh Đức, President of EIU, along with leaders from various departments, faculties, and centers of the university, warmly welcomed the delegation.

The visit aimed to establish collaborative partnerships between A*STAR and EIU, focusing on high-quality human resource development for Bình Dương province and Vietnam in the future.

During the working session, the two sides discussed potential areas of collaboration, emphasizing training partnerships and technological cooperation. In the field of training, A*STAR plans to introduce its S&A Knowledge Transfer Office at EIU, showcasing sustainable and advanced digitalization programs. Regarding technological collaboration, ARTC will work with EIU on projects related to Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing. Additionally, both sides discussed potential cooperation in the field of ROS-I during the meeting.

The working session between A*STAR and EIU concluded successfully, with numerous collaboration plans laid out for future implementation. These initiatives aim to gradually establish a robust bilateral relationship across various fields between EIU and A*STAR.
