Recently, EIU students had an exchange session with the U.S. Consulate General regarding study abroad opportunities and postgraduate programs in the United States.
During the program, EIU students participated in interactive activities to learn about the U.S. education system, scholarships, financial aid options for postgraduate programs, and the visa application process for studying in the United States. The United States is always ready to welcome international students. Before applying for a visa, prospective international students or students in exchange programs must be accepted by a U.S. university. Students can complete the U.S. student visa application through the official channels provided by the U.S. Department of State.
Participating in the program, EIU students confidently asked many questions about topics they were interested in. Consul Jon C. McCahill and Education Specialist Quach My Ngoc provided clear and informative answers. The program helped students gain valuable insights into higher education in the United States and the steps needed to achieve their study abroad dreams when aspiring to continue their studies or research postgraduate programs in the United States in the future.
