With the desire to expand EIU’s international cooperation network to create opportunities for academic exchange and research development for the university’s faculty and students, on October 18, 2023, EIU welcomed a delegation from National Pingtung University, Taiwan, for a visit and collaboration.
This program provided an opportunity for both institutions to share information about the university as well as their visions and strategic goals for development. In the context of the rapidly progressing Industry 4.0 revolution, EIU is committed to training high-quality human resources and focuses on promoting research and scientific and technological innovation in key fields to meet the demands of the modern era. As a reputable university in Taiwan, National Pingtung University is dedicated to building a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary development strategy based on international cooperation. They integrate teaching with societal needs while emphasizing technological research. With many similar development goals and strategies, this visit opens up opportunities for cooperation between EIU and National Pingtung University in various areas, especially in student exchange activities, scientific research collaboration, and academic sharing in engineering and technology fields.
On this occasion, the delegation also toured the learning environment at EIU. The delegation was impressed with the modern learning environment and expressed confidence in the positive relationship between the two institutions and the potential for future collaborative activities.
