EIU welcomed a delegation from Jeonbuk University, Jeonbuk, South Korea, for a visit and to learn about the university. The program opened up opportunities for collaboration in various fields between the two institutions.
Jeonbuk University is one of the first public universities established in the southern region of South Korea. It consistently ranks among the top 10 largest and most reputable universities in South Korea. During their visit to EIU, the delegation from Jeonbuk University was impressed by the university’s modern and green learning environment, as well as the system of laboratories, practical facilities, and, especially, EIU’s ecosystem for innovation and creativity. This ecosystem includes units with close coordination, such as Becamex Business Incubators, Advanced Manufacturing Center, the Library, Fablab, and the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center.
Through the program, both institutions had the opportunity to exchange and share their goals, missions, strengths, and potential areas for future cooperation, particularly in student and faculty exchange activities. Furthermore, representatives from Jeonbuk University introduced opportunities, policies, and support programs for international students in general, and Vietnamese students in particular, during their study at the university.
