This morning (November 27), Eastern International University (EIU) organized the EIU Vision Alignment – November 2024 program with the topic ‘Research Integrity – Theory and Practice.’ The event attracted a large number of the university’s lecturers and executives.
Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, the President of EIU, delivered the opening speech.
The EIU Vision Alignment – November 2024 program was organized to help EIU lecturers and executives prevent and avoid violations of academic integrity, thereby maintaining rigor, honesty, and fairness in scientific research. This initiative addresses the growing concern of scientific integrity violations, which has become a prominent issue in Vietnam and the global research community.
Dr. Huynh Cong Minh, Vice Dean of the Becamex Business School, shared insights during the program.
Dr. Dang Le Hoa, Lecturer from the Becamex Business School, delivered a presentation to EIU lecturer.
During the program, Dr. Huynh Cong Minh and Dr. Dang Le Hoa presented surrounding content related to the topic of the EIU Vision Alignment – November 2024 program, including theoretical aspects of research integrity, acts that violate research integrity, the consequences of such violations, and methods to prevent and avoid breaches of research integrity.
Leaders of departments and units asked questions during the program.
Concluding the program, the two speakers from the Becamex Business School addressed questions from EIU lecturers and executives. They also provided recommendations to the University Council and the Board of President on solutions to assist EIU lecturer and executive in upholding research integrity and avoiding violations.
