In addition to the competition for high school students, The EIU Programming Contest Season 1 also featured a student bracket with participation from CIT students. In the morning, the contestants entered the official round, with each having 180 minutes to complete their programming tasks (the programming languages used in the contest were C/C++, Java, Python), and solve several problems within the current and advanced general informatics curriculum.
The contest results were automatically scored through an online grading system (CMS – Contest Management System) and publicly announced at the competition venue for contestants and the audience.
