This morning (December 18), the Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) of Eastern International University (EIU), in collaboration with Hoang Van Consulting Services Co., Ltd., HPE Vietnam Trading and Services Co., Ltd., Makino Vietnam Co., Ltd., and Daido DMS Vietnam Co., Ltd., successfully organized the 2024 Mold Processing Solutions Workshop.
Dr. Nguyen Trung Nghiep – Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Center at EIU – delivered the opening speech at the workshop.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Trung Nghiep expressed gratitude to the businesses and experts for attending the workshop organized by EIU and its partners. On this occasion, Dr. Nguyen Trung Nghiep introduced the workshop participants to the mission of AMC in training high-quality human resources for society, as well as its role in connecting and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region in their processing and manufacturing activities.

Following the program, representatives from various companies shared topics related to mold processing solutions with the workshop participants, including: Mr. Tran Xuan Hai – Branch Manager of HPE Vietnam Trading and Services Co., Ltd., and Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoang – Application Engineer at Moldino, who presented on ‘Precision Mold Processing Solutions’; Mr. Tang Chi Duc – Technical Director of Makino Vietnam Co., Ltd., who discussed simultaneous 5-axis machining solutions for mold processing; Mr. Vu Duc Tuan – Sales Director of Daido DMS Vietnam Co., Ltd., who spoke about mold processing materials; and Mr. Tran Ngoc Vinh – Application Engineer at Hoang Van Consulting Services Co., Ltd., who shared on ‘Overcoming Challenges in Mold Programming with hyperMILL.

The 2024 Mold Processing Solutions Workshop, co-organized by EIU and its business partners, provided an opportunity for lecturers and students from EIU’s School of Engineering to connect with experts and companies within and beyond Binh Duong province. The event fostered discussions on current challenges and solutions in mold processing, explored ways to enhance productivity and quality while reducing costs in precision mold and component processing, and introduced cutting-edge technologies to optimize production. Additionally, the workshop offered a platform for participants to network with leading partners in software, machinery, and specialized tools, paving the way for innovative breakthroughs in the industry.
