With the theme “Transformative Care Initiatives on Consilience of Technology and Humanity”. This year’s conference gathered prestigious speakers with the goal of connecting the global nursing community. The event showcased new research studies on key issues in the nursing field while emphasizing the role of nurses in Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs in the current context.
The event attracted nearly 2,000 papers from researchers, experts, and scholars in the field of health sciences from various countries such as Japan, China, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Thailand, and others. Notably, two lecturers from the School of Nursing, MSc. Le Hong Liem and MSc. Ha Thi Kim Phung along with their colleagues, presented three papers on maternal and child care as well as nursing education. Specifically, MSc. Ha Thi Kim Phung presented two papers: “Effectiveness of Physical Activities and Dietary Behavior Interventions in Schools for Children Overweight and Obesity” and “Concept Analysis of Weight Management in Obese Children”. Meanwhile, MSc. Le Hong Liem presented his research on: “Artificial Intelligence Standardized Patients in Nursing Education: A Concept Analysis.”

MSc. Ha Thi Kim Phung and MSc. Le Hong Liem along with their colleagues received the Best Poster Award.
Presenting at the conference with the paper “Concept Analysis of Weight Management in Obese Children,” MSc. Ha Thi Kim Phung emphasized: “Obesity is one of the key factors increasing the risk of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular conditions and diabetes in children. Early weight management plays a crucial role in preventive intervention strategies, significantly enhancing the effectiveness of medical measures to prevent obesity. Based on this foundation, the study aims to develop a clear, comprehensive, and highly applicable definition of “Weight Management in Children.” It also seeks to identify the core characteristics, predisposing factors, and impacts of weight management strategies to improve their effectiveness in clinical practice and preventive healthcare.
Notably, during the two-day conference, MSc. Ha Thi Kim Phung and MSc. Le Hong Liem along with their colleagues, excelled among hundreds of articles to receive the Best Poster Award. This achievement reflects the high recognition from international experts and researchers for their work, particularly in terms of scientific value and practical application. It not only affirms the quality of their research but also makes a significant contribution to the field of health sciences in general and nursing.

Sharing about the research topic, MSc. Le Hong Liem shared: “The research team aimed to define and clarify the concept of “Artificial Intelligence Standardized Patients” (AI-SPs) in nursing education using Rodgers’ evolutionary concept analysis method. AI-SPs represent a modern trend that enhances the quality of nursing education by providing a simulated, flexible, and customizable learning environment. The study identified the attributes, antecedents, and consequences of AI-SPs to establish a solid theoretical foundation and proposed effective ways to integrate AI-SPs into nursing training programs.”
The 15th International Nursing Conference and the 28th East Asian Forum Of Nursing Scholars provided an opportunity for the School of Nursing lecturers to share their research findings with the scientific community, gaining valuable feedback to refine and enhance their studies. Additionally, presenting at international conferences enables lecturers to stay updated on the latest trends, methods, and discoveries in nursing, thereby improving their expertise and advancing the training curriculum. Furthermore, this event served as a platform for EIU lecturers to establish academic networks with researchers, lecturers, and experts from various countries, opening up opportunities for collaboration in teaching and research./.
