On January 20, the Youth Union of Eastern International University (EIU) held the Summary Conference of the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2025.
The Youth Union awarded certificates to students who participated in the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Phung Đinh Hung – Vice Secretary of the University Party Committee acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union, and the Executive Committees of faculty-level Youth Union branches in organizing the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2025, as well as their contributions to Youth Union – Student Association activities and youth movements over the past year. “The individuals recognized today have been active and outstanding in Youth Union – Student Association activities. I urge the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Youth Union to continue to support and nurture these individuals for potential Party membership” – The Vice Secretary of the University Party Committee emphasized.

During the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2025, the Youth Union of Eastern International University organized the “Tet Nghia Tinh” and “Tet Se Chia” programs, aiming to provide simple Tet gifts such as rice, milk, and other essential items. These gifts not only helped disadvantaged families have a more fulfilling Tet but also helped orphaned children to feel the warmth and care of the community, like a big family always ready to love and support them.
The Youth Union organized the “Tet Nghia Tinh” program in Binh Phuoc.
Accordingly, at the “Tet Se Chia” program held at Huong Duong Social Protection Center for Orphans and Disabled Children, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union presented 31 Tet gift packages, including rice, milk, essential items, and 5,000,000 VND in cash, to the center. In the “Tet Nghia Tinh” program in Tan Hung Commune, Hon Quan District, Binh Phuoc Province, EIU distributed 20 Tet gift packages consisting of rice and essential items to 20 disadvantaged households in Hớn Quản District. Additionally, four lucky money envelopes, each worth 1 million VND, were given to four families. Furthermore, the Organizing Committee also provided 10 Tet gift packages, including rice, milk, and school supplies, for 10 children, along with 10 lucky money envelopes, each worth 500,000 VND.
Comrade Nguyen Le Ngoc Long – Secretary of the Youth Union of Eastern International University stated: The Spring Volunteer Campaign 2025 was organized by the Youth Union with the desire to promote compassion and solidarity. The campaign serves as a vivid testament to the spirit of “The leaves protect tattered ones”, reaffirming the nation’s cherished traditional values. Moreover, through this program, EIU student volunteers will gain a deeper understanding of social responsibility, learn to love, and show care for those less fortunate.
