After Over a Month of Competition, the Grand Finale of EIU Arena Season 3 Officially Takes Place This Morning (December 8). In the end, Cao Duy Thai, a 12A1 student from Ly Thai To High School (Binh Duong), excelled in surpassing 14 other finalists to win the championship, earning a cash prize of up to 120,100,000 VND

Sharing his thoughts after the victory, Cao Duy Thai said: “Through EIU Arena Season 3, I have strengthened and enriched my knowledge. The questions covered various topics, from natural sciences, social sciences, and economics, to law. This is my first time visiting EIU, and I am truly impressed by the facilities, learning environment, and professionalism of the organizers. The competition was thoughtfully and meticulously organized. With the prize, I plan to invest in my university studies, and EIU will be a great choice for my future, as well as for other students.”
Before the competition began, MSc. Mai Son Tung, Head of the Organizing Committee and Head of the Student Affairs Office at EIU, awarded scholarships to the Top 15 finalists. These scholarships will be applicable if the recipients meet the admission requirements and enroll at EIU.
This year’s Grand Finale featured 15 exciting and intense rounds. In each round, contestants answered two questions posed by the organizers, with a maximum of 8 seconds per question. Based on their answers, one contestant was eliminated in each round.
The elimination process continued until only the final two contestants remained. At this stage, they competed in a direct face-off to determine the ultimate champion. Each contestant answered five questions, and the one with the most correct answers won the competition and received the full amount of accumulated prize money from the previous rounds.

This year’s EIU Arena Season 3 attracted nearly 10,000 contestants from high schools nationwide. Organized annually by EIU, the competition serves as a scientific platform for students across the country to explore and strengthen their comprehensive academic abilities by answering questions in various fields, including natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, technology, engineering, economics, and law.
The Top 15 contestants this year came from high schools in provinces such as Binh Duong, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Tay Ninh, and Ben Tre. Among them were students from three specialized high schools: Hung Vuong Specialized High School (Binh Duong), Hoang Le Kha Specialized High School (Tay Ninh), and Le Quy Don Specialized High School (Ninh Thuan). Notably, the finalists ranged from 10th to 12th grade, showcasing the contestants’ talents and the competition’s broad appeal to students at all grade levels.
