This morning (November 30), Nguyen Minh Thanh, a student from the School of Becamex Business School (BBS) at EIU, was honored to receive the AmCham Scholarship 2024. The scholarship is organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam in collaboration with various partners.

Sharing his thoughts after receiving the scholarship, Minh Thanh said: “I am very happy to receive the AmCham Scholarship, which feels like recognition for my efforts in both academics and volunteer work. Throughout the journey to achieve this scholarship, I received tremendous support and encouragement from my teachers. On this occasion, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to my parents, teachers, and EIU for always creating the best conditions for me to achieve this success.”
As an outstanding student of the School of Becamex Business School (BBS), Minh Thanh has not only achieved remarkable academic results, earning numerous awards at various levels, but is also a member of the BBS Honors Program for talented students. Additionally, he actively participates in activities organized by the university, ranging from arts and sports to community service initiatives.
“During my studies at EIU, my peers and I have always been encouraged and supported to participate in both national and international competitions. Notably, the academic programs are designed to integrate practical experiences through internships and on-the-job training from the early years. The activities organized by the university provide excellent opportunities for me to learn, gain knowledge, and accumulate valuable experience. These experiences have profoundly influenced my perspective on the world, helping me become more mature and confident,” Minh Thanh shared.
