The National Informatics Excellence Training Class, organized by Eastern International University (EIU) in collaboration with Hung Vuong Specialized High School, took place from October 17 to 22. The program aimed to provide students with an opportunity to enhance their abilities and prepare for the upcoming National Excellence Competition.
Attending the event were Mr. Vo Thanh Tu, Acting Principal of Hung Vuong Specialized High School, alongside teachers from specialized high schools across 18 southern provinces and participating students.
Mr. Huynh Tan Thong, Head of the Informatics Department at Nguyen Quang Dieu Specialized High School in Dong Thap Province, representing the Organizing Committee of the National Informatics Excellence Training Class, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to EIU.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Huynh Tan Thong, Head of the Informatics Department at Nguyen Quang Dieu Specialized High School in Dong Thap Province, represented the Organizing Committee of the National Informatics Excellence Training Class to express heartfelt gratitude to EIU for providing comprehensive support, from a conducive learning environment to accommodation for the students during their time at EIU. With EIU’s outstanding mechanisms and policies, I believe the students will excel in their studies and achieve great success in the upcoming National Excellence Competition in Informatics.
Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy, Vice Rector of EIU, shared with the teachers the significance of EIU in the Master Plan for Binh Duong Province for the 2021–2030 period with a vision toward 2025.
Continuing the program, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy, Vice Rector of EIU, shared with the teachers from specialized high schools across 18 southern provinces about the significance of EIU in the Master Plan for Binh Duong Province for the 2021–2030 period with a vision toward 2025 (referred to as the Master Plan). According to Dr. Huy, EIU plays a pivotal role in cultivating a high-quality workforce to effectively address the critical demands for sustainable socio-economic development in Binh Duong Province. This contributes to achieving the goal of transforming Binh Duong into a centrally governed city and one of the dynamic and comprehensive development centers in Southeast Asia, as outlined in the Master Plan announced by Binh Duong Province on September 26, 2024, with the attendance of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

On this occasion, the students had the opportunity to explore the university’s learning environment, including the Library, the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center, the Advanced Manufacturing Center, the Center for Sustainable Solutions, the TechLab and Fablab System, the Cybersecurity Center, as well as classrooms and laboratories of the four faculties.
Additionally, they learned about the university’s community-oriented and humanitarian scholarship policies, along with the advantages of graduating from EIU with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 in English.
