Accordingly, the university leadership has handed over the appointment decisions to Mr. Le Vinh Quang – Head of the Community Engagement Office, who is also appointed Deputy Head of the Faculty of Becamex Business School (BBS); and Dr. Vo Ngoc Thao Nguyen – Lecturer at BBS, who is appointed Director of the Business Administration Program at BBS. The Appointment Announcement Ceremony took place this morning (October 15).
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi – Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Ngo Minh Duc – President of the University; Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc – University Council Advisor and former University President, along with the leadership of faculties, departments, lecturers, and staff of BBS.

Speaking at the appointment ceremony, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc congratulated the newly appointed individuals and highlighted the crucial role of BBS in the development of EIU. He noted that BBS has made significant contributions to the university’s overall growth. Moving forward, BBS will have many important tasks ahead, such as continuing to enhance the quality of education, participating in international accreditation standards like AACSB, collaborating with functional departments to increase student numbers, and working toward realizing BBS’s vision of becoming one of the leading business schools in Vietnam. Therefore, the restructuring of the faculty is necessary to maximize BBS’s internal strength, enabling it to successfully accomplish the university’s goals and tasks.
The current socio-economic situation of Binh Duong Province is undergoing a new phase of development, requiring more consultation from universities in the area. The leadership of Becamex IDC Corporation and the University Council and Executive Board at EIU wish for BBS to quickly get involved in these matters. In particular, BBS should provide consultation to businesses and connect academic research with industry activities. These are the directions that the provincial leadership and Becamex IDC Corporation expect, as emphasized by the University President.

Continuing the program, the new Vice Dean of BBS, Mr. Le Vinh Quang, expressed his deep gratitude to the university leadership for entrusting him with the new role. Mr. Le Vinh Quang shared, “I recognize this as both an honor and a great responsibility. Completing this task is not easy, but in my new position, I will work with my colleagues at BBS to achieve the goals and tasks set by the University Council and the Executive Board.”
