Successful organization of the 3rd EIU MCR

Over 40 teams with nearly 120 contestants from universities, colleges, and high schools in southern Vietnam participated in the 3rd EIU MCR. The event, organized by Eastern International University (EIU), took place on September 29. This year, the competition also welcomed contestants from the Military Engineering Officer School.

The competition was divided into two categories: university and high school. Teams in each category competed in two rounds: the group stage and the knockout stage. The knockout stage included the round of 12, quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals. Each team was provided with a racing car by EIU, equipped with technical features aligned with the competition rules. Teams were tasked with programming their cars to navigate a racetrack designed by the organisers.

After a series of thrilling matches and enthusiastic support from spectators, the organizers announced the top teams of the competition.

In the high school category: First Prize: Team “Xe gay banh” – Hung Vuong Gifted High School; Second Prize: Team “SBLC_TAMKA” – Binh Long TX High School; Third Prize: Team “1st” – Viet Anh 2 Secondary and High School

In the university category: First Prize: Team “NaCa Team” – University of Transport and Communications, Ho Chi Minh City Campus; Second Prize: Team “Hawk Eyes” – Ton Duc Thang University; Third Prize: Team “Naca Mecha” – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology

The EIU MCR is organized annually by FabLab – EIU. It serves as a platform for students to explore technology and engineering, fostering interaction and friendship among teams. This event encourages contestants to combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge for their future.
