Exciting, informative, and practical were the common impressions of the new students at the School Of Nursing’s welcome event held on September 11, 2024.

With the goal of creating a friendly and intimate environment for new students to confidently interact with faculty and peers, the School Of Nursing at Eastern International University (EIU) organized a meaningful welcome event for the K2024 cohort. This event served as the first step for students to confidently embark on their journey to becoming nurses with EIU.
At the event, new students had the opportunity to meet the faculty members and hear about the department’s goals, mission, training programs, and effective strategies for mastering the field. Many students were enthusiastic and asked numerous questions regarding internship programs, practical training, and international exchanges at prestigious hospitals both domestically and abroad. Faculty members provided thorough and detailed responses to these inquiries.

Additionally, to further motivate and inspire the K2024 students pursuing a specialized field in healthcare, the department arranged for interactions with representatives from Becamex International Hospital and alumni currently working there. During this session, new students learned about the mission of nurses in community healthcare, workforce demands, career development opportunities in nursing, and the advantages of being proficient in English, among other valuable information.

Nursing students also shared their experiences with new students, including their English language learning process and their experiences during internships at hospitals both in the country and abroad.
Through this welcome program, it is believed that the K2024 new students in the School Of Nursing are ready and confident to start the new academic year with great enthusiasm.
