On August 14, Eastern International University (EIU) held a seminar titled “Unlocking the Future – 5G and Beyond,” led by Mr. Sadaaki Yokouchi, Executive Managing Director of Kanto-Shinetsu at NTT DOCOMO, Japan. The event attracted a large audience, including leaders, faculty, and students from the School of Computing and Information Technology at EIU.

The event began with Mr. Sadaaki Yokouchi introduced NTT DOCOMO, including the company’s history, services, and technologies currently being implemented in Japan.

The seminar continued with a key panel discussion on 5G solutions for businesses, featuring NTT DOCOMO and the School of Computing and Information Technology at EIU. This segment focused on exploring critical areas where 5G technology can revolutionize industries, including: High-speed video distribution for live broadcasts, Enhanced healthcare services, Improved logistics and distribution systems, Smart agriculture, Disaster prevention and mitigation, Innovations in construction and engineering, Advanced manufacturing processes, Development of modern urban infrastructure.
