From July 7 to 13, six lecturers and staff members from the School of Nursing and the Board of Medicine (EIU) participated in a short-term training program on Simulation Labs at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (Thailand).
The activity aimed to help EIU’s dedicated lecturers and staff exchange and learn about the setup and operation of labs at EIU in the future.
Welcoming the EIU delegation on July 8, Dr. Nantaporn Wongsurawat from the Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University said, “I hope that this academic and experiential exchange between the Faculty of Medicine and EIU will benefit both sides. I believe this visit will open opportunities for mutual learning and building stronger relationships.”

During the working session between the two units on the same day, Dr. Nantaporn Wongsurawat introduced the EIU delegation to general information about Khon Kaen University, the Faculty of Medicine, and its curriculum. On this occasion, the two units also discussed future cooperation in teaching and scientific research.

Sharing after the trip, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Doan Trang from EIU’s Office of International Affairs expressed her gratitude for the warm reception from the Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University. “Our delegation is honored to visit Khon Kaen University, a world-renowned institution in health-related fields. We are delighted to learn and exchange valuable experiences with the university’s lecturers and experts. This visit is a great opportunity to strengthen the relationship between our two units.”
