On April 16, 2024, the delegation from the Horasis China Meeting 2024 visited the Eastern International University (EIU). The delegation toured and learned about the SEMBCORP – EIU Center For Sustainable Solutions and the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center. These units play a crucial role in the EIU Innovation Ecosystem, supporting the training of a highly skilled workforce proficient in their fields, practical applications, and foreign languages to meet the demands of smart manufacturing and digital transformation in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. They also serve as centres for research, application, and technology transfer, contributing to attracting talent to Binh Duong for education, work, and research; and promoting a knowledge-based economy to further the economic and social development of Binh Duong Province specifically, and the Southern Key Economic Region in general.
The Horasis China delegation visited the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center
Prior to this (on April 15 and 16, 2024), the opening ceremony of the Horasis China Meeting 2024 took place at the Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center. The forum included 6 plenary sessions and 24 dialogue and discussion sessions held concurrently. As part of the forum, Becamex IDC Corporation and Binh Duong Province hosted two special sessions focused on Binh Duong: “Binh Duong – Innovative, Sustainable Ecosystem, New Thinking” and “Binh Duong – E-commerce Driving Global Supply Chains”. The program attracted significant attention from the community, including lecturers, professionals, and EIU students. This was an opportunity for EIU to stay updated with new trends and advanced technologies, further enhancing their digital transformation efforts, development of green and sustainable energy within their Innovative Ecosystem. Thus, contributing new values to the community and to the economic and social development of the region and the nation.
