On March 15, 2024, an emotionally rich and meaningful connection activity took place between the students of the Eastern International University (EIU) and those from Yamaguchi Prefectural University (YPU) and Asia University, Japan, under the theme “EIU – Yamaguchi Prefectural University & Asia University Cultural Exchange”.
During the event, students from YPU and EIU performed a variety of artistic performances such as singing and contemporary dance, which were meticulously prepared. Notably, students from the land of the rising sun surprised many by performing duets in Vietnamese with EIU students. Despite some initial nervousness, the international students excellently completed their performances, leaving a lasting impression.

After participating in a short-term English course at EIU, the international students had many memorable experiences. Many were impressed with the English teachers at the EIU Foreign Language Center for their enthusiasm, dedication, and extensive knowledge. Mizuguchi Kanon, a student from YPU, excitedly shared, “After studying English at EIU for about a month, I feel that my English skills have significantly improved. Not only that, but the teachers and students at EIU are very open and friendly. This made me feel less nervous and more easily integrated into the class. I will never forget my experiences at EIU.”
At the event, EIU awarded certificates of English course completion to the Japanese students. The success of this course sets an important precedent for EIU and Yamaguchi Prefectural University, as well as Asia University, to continue implementing student exchange activities, providing more enriching learning experiences.
