On the morning of April 19, 2022, the Ministry of Education and Training officially announced the schedule of the national high school exam 2022 on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of July (2 days and 1 backup day).
On July 6, candidates will go to the exam room to complete the exam procedures, correct errors (if any), and listen to the exam regulations and exam schedule. 7/7 and 8/7 is the official exam date. 9/7 is the backup test day.
The high school graduation exam in 2022 has 5 exams including literature, math, foreign languages, natural sciences (physics, chemistry, and biology), and social sciences (history, geography, civics).
Candidates must take 4 exams to consider graduating from high school, including literature, math, foreign languages, natural sciences, or social sciences (choose 1 of 2 tests).
Out of the five exams, only the literature test is in the form of essays, and the rest of the tests are in the form of objective multiple-choice.
According to the University Admission Regulations 2022, candidates will apply for university admission after the high school graduation exam and will only register once, not changing their aspirations as before.
