On May 7, 2024, Becamex Business School organized a workshop titled “Faculty Development for AACSB” aimed at helping leaders and faculty members of EIU better understand AACSB standards to develop appropriate teaching and research strategies.
The seminar was attended by the University Council/Board of Presidents and attracted many leaders from various departments and faculties. With the accessible and straightforward sharing from Professor Tarique Hossain of California State Polytechnic University, USA, the discussion provided a meaningful academic space to delve deeper into AACSB standards and enhance teaching and research skills.
During the lecture, the professor shared insights focused on developing faculty expertise and experience, improving teaching quality, and evaluating research and academic activities, with the goal of enhancing educational quality for students.
Through the program, EIU gained a foundation to enhance faculty quality, from fostering a research culture to developing suitable teaching methodologies for students.
