The curriculum of the Business Administration program is designed to align with the demand and requirements from the labor market and society. It is developed to provide students with an integration of extensive knowledge about economics, doing business in general, as well as other crucial skills. The Business Administration program includes seven (7) concentrations. The concentrations are responding to the needs of society – and meeting the diverse and specific human resource requirements in business such as Finance, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Human Resources Management, Supply Chain Management, and Marketing. The BBS (Becamex Business School) integrates a variety of teaching methods and case studies into the curriculum to reinforce the qualification outputs and diversify the students’ practical experiences. These methods can help them quickly and confidently adapt to the challenging work environment after graduation.

Concentrations in the Business Administration program:

At the Becamex Business School (BBS), the Accounting concentration provides students with introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses in financial accounting, management accounting, and basic theories of both International and Vietnamese accounting standards.

Accounting graduates are able to understand the importance of accounting systems in businesses. They develop the ability to interpret, analyse, and evaluate financial information; and make appropriate management decisions in the context of globalization and economic integration. Graduates can also perform corporate financial management in order to maximize corporate value from the shareholders’ point of view. With solid knowledge and professional skills in accounting and financial management, BBS students are qualified to serve the community in accounting.

Hospitality Management is one of the fastest-growing and most challenging professions in the world today – with many job opportunities. The Hospitality Management concentration at EIU uses practical teaching methods that provide students with not only academic knowledge and qualifications, but also the skills and the ability to adapt to the workplace. The knowledge and teaching methods are tailored to meet the needs of different professions in the Hospitality industry and the demands of potential employers.

In the Innovation and Entrepreneurship concentration at the Becamex Business School, EIU focuses on exploiting and developing innovative thinking and entrepreneurial abilities for students either establishing a new business or working at an established enterprise. We encourage students to develop the ability to recognize the opportunities around them and hone their critical thinking skills to create new values.

Students in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship concentration can experience the entrepreneurial journey over seven courses – including finding opportunities, establishing a new business, stimulating business growth, financing a business, and managing profits. Then, the students will apply all of their expertise and skills to complete their Capstone Projects.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship concentration at EIU, together with the Becamex Business Incubator (BBI), aspires to foster the entrepreneurship spirit among young people and create an energetic entrepreneurial community with innovative thinking.

Are you interested in branding? Do you enjoy developing new products or new sales strategies? Do you want to go to different places, meet new people and learn how customers make purchasing decisions? If your answer is yes, the Marketing concentration at EIU’s Becamex Business School is a great place to start. With the rapid development and expansion in the Vietnamese economy, many companies are looking for human resources with knowledge and experience in Marketing to bring their brands to customers. With a Marketing concentration, students will have many opportunities to work abroad.

Students have the opportunity to gain real-world experience through business projects, corporate training, and authentic case studies. At EIU, professors from around the world (e.g. Singapore, the USA, and Europe) regularly come to directly teach our students, creating opportunities for students to experience a variety of learning methods.

The Finance concentration provides students with the crucial knowledge and skills necessary to work in the financial sector. Specifically, students learn how to apply both theoretical and practical knowledge to help individual investors or businesses make sound financial decisions.

Students will also understand the impact these decisions have on individual organizations, as well as the overall market. Finance students graduating with a solid foundation of knowledge can assume a variety of positions in businesses and financial institutions.

Program Highlights

At EIU, Business Administration students are equipped with critical knowledge about economics, doing business and job skills. This approach helps students adapt with confidence to an actual working environment right after graduation. The curriculum enables graduates to fully meet the requirements from the business community, improve their competitiveness, and learn self-study and self-development.

The Business Administration program includes seven (7) concentrations, which align with corporate demand in the market. There are programs in Accounting/Finance, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources Management, Hospitality, and Marketing.

EIU delivers the Business Administration program entirely in English. Students are trained to improve their English skills at the University’s English Language Center to ensure 100% achievement of the IELTS Certificate (Band 6.0 or above) before they can enroll into any Business Administration concentration.

Our teaching methods provide students with not only a solid knowledge foundation, but also an overview of real business cases and simulated business situations. Analyzing these actual cases stimulates students to practice their critical thinking, analysis, and creativity – and confidently offer their individual perspectives and propose decisions.

The Business Administration program provides students with opportunities to participate in practical experience beginning in their first Quarter. There are also internship programs at many domestic/international organizations and businesses available to students beginning in their third year of study. These activities offer students an opportunity to observe ‘real-world’ businesses, and gain an early perspective of the actual working environment. Therefore, students can prepare themselves with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet industry requirements in the global business environment after graduation.

BBS provides students with regular opportunities to meet with business leaders and prominent professors, participate in seminars, and actually have the chance to carry out their own projects with some businesses in their Capstone Projects. These programs provide students with an important opportunity to listen to new ideas, and directly participate in solving practical problems in business, thereby accumulating important knowledge and practical experience.
