Dr Narayan C. Debnath is currently Dean of the School of Computing and Information Technology at Eastern International University (EIU), Vietnam. He is also serving as the Head of the Department of Software Engineering at EIU. Formerly, Dr Debnath served as a Full Professor and Chair of Computer Science department at Winona State University, Minnesota, USA. Dr Debnath received an M.S degree in Computer Science from the Ohio State University, USA, and another M.S. in Physics from East Carolina University, USA. He earned a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, India.

Dr Debnath has made original research contributions in Software Engineering Models, Metrics and Tools, Software Testing and automated tools, Software Development and Management, and Information Science, Technology and Engineering. Currently he is involved in research and publications on Computational Intelligence and Emerging Applications.

He is an author or co-author of over 500 publications in numerous refereed journals and conference proceedings in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, System Sciences, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering. Dr Debnath is an editor of several books published by Springer, Elsevier, CRC Press, and Bentham Science Press on emerging fields of computing. His recently published books on IoT Devices and Sensor Networks, IOT Security paradigm, Blockchain technology for data privacy, and Security and Privacy issues in IOT devices made significant impacts in new developments on these topics. He has been maintaining an active research and professional collaborations with many universities, faculty, scholars, professionals and practitioners across the globe.

Dr Debnath has made numerous teaching, research and invited keynote presentations at various international conferences, industries, and teaching and research institutions in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. He has been teaching a wide range of courses in computing and information technology including the Computational Thinking, Software Testing and Quality Assurance, Theory of Computation. He has offered courses and workshops on Software Engineering and Software Testing at universities in Asia, Africa, Middle East, and South America. He had supervised many students and scholars with a large number of projects, M.S. Thesis, and Ph.D. dissertations around the world.
