Ms Bui Thanh Phuong completed her Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management at Keele University (United Kingdom), graduating with Distinction and achieving the highest overall academic performance in her cohort, after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (majoring in Finance) from Eastern International University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Management Science (Accounting) at Keele University.
She is currently a lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Becamex Business School. Her teaching responsibilities cover courses in accounting, finance, and research methodology, supervising theses and capstone projects, as well as contributing to curriculum development and academic activities within the faculty. In parallel, she serves as a part-time lecturer at Keele Business School (UK), where she has gained valuable teaching experience in an international higher education environment.
Her research interests focus on sustainable accounting, corporate governance, ESG, disclosure practices, and firm performance. Her studies have been published in reputable international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, ranked by CABS and ABDC. Her work particularly examines the role of corporate governance and organizational strategy in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), especially within emerging economies.
