Mr Nguyen Trong Nghia is a lecturer at the School of Engineering, EIU. He obtained his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry in 2023. Prior to joining academia, he gained extensive practical experience at Becamex Group, where he served as an Electrical Engineering Supervisor on several key infrastructure projects in Binh Duong Province and worked at the Research and Development (R&D) Institute.
His main research interests focus on electrical system optimization and the development of smart grids, including the application of advanced monitoring and control solutions, the integration of renewable energy into power systems, and the development of efficient energy management models to enhance the reliability and sustainability of modern electrical infrastructure.
In teaching, he emphasizes the integration of theory with practice, enabling students to engage with modern technologies and equipment while developing strong awareness of electrical safety and practical troubleshooting skills. Through this approach, students are encouraged to cultivate a professional working style and an agile mindset, preparing them to adapt effectively to the evolving demands of the industry.
