Dr Huynh Tan Phuoc is currently the Head of the Department of Computer Networks and Data Communications, School of Computing and Information Technology (CIT), at Eastern International University (EIU). He received the Ph.D. degree in Communication Technology from Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, in 2019. From 2010 to 2018, he held the positions of Vice Dean of the School of Engineering and Head of the Department of Software Engineering at EIU.

His major research interests are Computer Networks, Information security, Network security, Network Administration, Network Programming.
