Dr Huynh Cong Minh is a lecturer and economist with a strong academic background in development economics, institutional economics, and sustainable development, with a research focus on Vietnam and the broader Asian region. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics, specializing in applied econometrics.

His research interests address a range of contemporary economic issues, including foreign direct investment, institutional quality, the shadow economy, income inequality, climate change, environmental pollution, energy economics, fiscal policy, and public governance, employing advanced econometric methodologies.

His scholarly work has been published in numerous reputable international journals such as Empirical Economics, Applied Economics, Energy Policy, Renewable Energy, International Economics, and Economics of Governance, as well as domestic academic journals. In teaching, he emphasizes bridging economic theory with real-world practices in Vietnam and globally, while fostering critical thinking and research capabilities among students.
