Dr Dao Xuan Quy

Dr Dao Xuan Quy is a lecturer at the School of Engineering, EIU. He is involved in teaching, research, and curriculum development in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He received advanced academic training in France, receiving a Ph.D. in Signal Processing and Telecommunications from the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA), a Master’s degree in Automation from Grenoble INP – Ense³, and an Engineering degree in Automation from Grenoble INP – Esisar, both under Grenoble Institute of Technology. He also contributes to course development and the continuous improvement of academic quality within the Faculty and the Department.

His research interests focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Text-to-Speech (TTS), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), and Large Language Models (LLMs), with several scientific publications in specialized journals and conferences.

In teaching, he is responsible for courses such as Signals and Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Electromagnetic Fields, and Industrial Robotics, while also participating in the development and updating of specialized courses for School of Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunications Program.
