Dr. Dang Le Hoa is a lecturer at Becamex Business School, Eastern International University. She obtained her PhD from the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2014 and has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and research at the Faculty of Economics, Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Her research interests are interdisciplinary, focusing on agriculture, sustainable development, climate change adaptation, environmental valuation, and environmental issues in developing countries. She has led and participated in several applied research projects. Some of those include willingness to pay for the preservation of Lo Go – Xa Mat National Park in Vietnam; adaptation to climate change: the attitude and behaviour of rice farmers in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam; gender-differentiated impacts of climate change and adaptation strategies: The case of Mekong Delta, Vietnam; climate-related risks and sustainable cage fish farming in Vietnam and Uganda.

She pursues a teaching philosophy that closely integrates theory with practice while encouraging learners’ critical thinking.
