Dr Basil John Thomas is an award-winning academic and Senior Fellow (SFHEA) of Advance HE, UK, with over two decades of international experience in business management education, research leadership, curriculum innovation, and institutional governance across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He maintains a strong record in postgraduate supervision, accreditation engagement, and program development, contributing strategically to assurance-of-learning processes and continuous academic enhancement. He actively contributes to the global academic community as a member of the Academy of Management, USA.

Dr Thomas is a Chartered Management Consultant and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Consultants, Canada, bringing an applied and practice-oriented perspective to management education. With an emphasis on research-informed academic impact demonstrated through publications in high-indexed, peer-reviewed international journals, his research portfolio integrates the domains of organizational and financial behavior. He is also the inventor of an innovation patent granted by IP Australia, reflecting his commitment to impactful research aligned with emerging global business challenges.

His academic leadership has been internationally recognized through the Global Educational Leadership Award conferred by CMO Asia in association with the World Federation of Academic & Educational Institutions (2019), among other distinctions.
