In the joyful spirit of the year-end season, on the morning of January 25, Eastern International University (EIU) organized the “Zero-Fare Bus Trip” program to support students returning to their hometowns for the 2025 Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake).

With sponsorship from VSIP Nghe An, the program provided transportation for students from Binh Duong to distant provinces such as Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Da Nang, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An. This community-oriented initiative reflects corporate social responsibility in partnership with education, offering peace of mind to students studying far from home.
Founded by Becamex IDC, the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) Joint Venture Company, and Becamex TDC, EIU has become a premier academic destination, offering a modern campus and internationally standardized learning environment. In addition to its strong focus on academic quality, EIU is deeply committed to student well-being. These ongoing efforts have helped the university attract students from all regions of Vietnam, affirming EIU’s reputation and value among students and parents alike.
EIU presents Tet gifts to students
Excited and grateful, Nguyen Duc Thien, a student from the School of Information Technology, shared: “My hometown is in Nghe An, so I was quite worried about traveling home for Tet since it’s a long journey. My family and I are really happy that the university arranged transportation for us. I was even more surprised to receive a Tet gift from the Student Union before boarding the bus. I truly feel touched and thankful to the university.”
The “Zero-Fare Bus Trip” and other student support activities remain central to EIU’s strategy of caring for student life. These efforts not only allow students from across the country to feel the university’s genuine concern and dedication, but also provide a supportive foundation for their studies, experiences, and holistic development.
