On the morning of July 9, Eastern International University (EIU) cooperated with Bosch Rexroth to organize the workshop themed “CtrlX Automation & Kassow Robots: A Solid Foundation for Smart Factories”.
Dr Lê Ngọc Huẩn – Director of the IIC; Head of the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, School of Engineering of the University delivered the opening remarks for the program
At the event, Bosch Rexroth experts, including Mr. Nguyễn Hùng Bính, Ms. Đỗ Bùi Nguyệt Minh, and Mr. Lê Thanh Liêm, shared with the university’s lecturers, staff, and students about innovations in automation technology, focusing on the ctrlX Automation platform and Kassow collaborative robots.
According to the experts, ctrlX Automation is considered one of the most advanced platforms in the field of industrial control today. With its open architecture, flexible integration capabilities, and real-time control technology, ctrlX not only simplifies engineering systems but also enhances the operational efficiency of smart factories. This platform enables easy connectivity with various devices across the production chain, providing strong support for deploying Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions, AI applications, and more.
The speakers delivered their presentations at the event
In addition, Kassow collaborative robots are increasingly affirming their role in optimizing production processes thanks to their ability to work flexibly in confined spaces, ease of programming, and safe interaction with humans. In Vietnam, the applications of Kassow Robots are being widely implemented in industries such as electronics, precision engineering, and component manufacturing.
On this occasion, during the discussion session, the speakers also provided analyses of automation development trends, as well as the skills and knowledge that students need to prepare in order to adapt to the job market in the context of Industry 4.0.
Students addressed questions to the speakers
The insights shared by Bosch Rexroth experts at the workshop offered EIU lecturers, staff, and students an overview of the development potential in this field. At the same time, the program was also an opportunity for EIU students to broaden their knowledge, connect with experts, and equip themselves with a solid foundation for their future careers.
