The meeting provided an opportunity for EIU and CSMU to share their educational strengths and development orientations, while engaging in in depth discussions on potential areas of collaboration such as student and faculty exchange programs, joint scientific research, and the development of collaborative training programs aimed at enhancing the quality of human resources in the fields of healthcare and health supporting technologies.
Notably, the delegation of faculty members and students from CSMU came from the Department of Health Policy and Management. Therefore, both sides focused their discussions on topics related to healthcare system governance, hospital management, healthcare policy planning, and improving the operational efficiency of healthcare facilities in the context of digital transformation and an aging population. These areas are considered highly applicable and closely aligned with the demand for developing high-quality healthcare human resources in Vietnam and the region.
CSMU and EIU students visit Becamex International Hospital
As part of the visit, the CSMU delegation participated in professional exchange sessions and toured EIU’s education and research ecosystem, with a highlight being the visit to Becamex International Hospital (BIH). At BIH, the delegation gained insights into the organization and management of medical services, clinical training, and research activities in a modern healthcare environment.
The visit to EIU and BIH left a strong impression on the delegation of lectures and students from CSMU, opening up numerous opportunities for collaboration in practical training, the organization of short- and long-term internship programs, and the implementation of joint research in healthcare management and health policy in the coming time.
Building on the success of previous international cooperation initiatives, the visit of Chung Shan Medical University not only carried academic and cultural exchange significance, but also further affirmed EIU’s position within the regional education network. Through this, EIU continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing students with high-quality learning values and practical experiences through a network of reputable international partners.
