From September 22 to 28, 2025, Eastern International University (EIU) will organize a study tour in Singapore for its students. This regular activity aims to help students connect theory with practice while developing global skills and mindset.
EIU Student at Changi Airport
During the one-week journey, EIU students will visit and learn from leading companies and reputable educational institutions such as Palomar Technologies (SE Asia) Pte, Sanmina-SCI Systems Singapore, Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific, Advanced Remanufacturing Technologies Center, A*Star, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, uHoo, and Nanyang Polytechnic.
A highlight of the program is the problem statement activity—real or simulated challenges provided directly by the companies. This creates opportunities for students to analyze, raise questions, and apply their knowledge to propose solutions, thereby sharpening critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Check-in at Rucksack Inn Temple – the accommodation for students during their stay in Singapore
Alongside professional field activities, students also had the chance to explore Singapore’s iconic cultural and artistic landmarks such as Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and the Esplanade Theatre. These experiences broadened their horizons and deepened their understanding of cultural diversity and the international community.
This trip was not only a valuable opportunity for practical learning but also a meaningful journey for students to shape their personal development, strengthen their knowledge and skills, and prepare themselves for future careers./.
