The project was carried out from December 31, 2025 to April 1, 2026, with the participation of seven students from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Information Technology. It aimed to foster interdisciplinary thinking while developing students’ teamwork, project management, and communication skills in a business environment. Rather than remaining purely theoretical, the students were directly involved in addressing real issues within the company under the guidance of highly qualified and experienced mentors.
At the final presentation, the EIU student team presented a proposal for developing a specialized human resource management software solution for the ECCO factory. The software was designed based on the factory’s actual operational characteristics and workforce structure, with the aim of optimizing management processes and improving operational efficiency.

On this occasion, representatives from the company highly appreciated the feasibility of the proposed solution and recognized the students’ efforts in understanding both the people and the actual conditions within the business. Notably, the project has opened up opportunities for further collaboration between the two parties to continue refining and testing the software in a real-world environment, demonstrating its potential to extend beyond the academic setting.

In the upcoming third semester, Eastern International University is expected to continue offering the “Interdisciplinary Community Project” course with a new partner, FamilyMart Vietnam. Student groups will focus on researching and proposing solutions to promote the green convenience store model, with the goal of supporting sustainable development and strengthening community engagement.
With its initial achievements and promising results, ICPC 200 clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of EIU’s enterprise-linked education model, helping students not only acquire knowledge but also develop professional competencies in a real-world context.
