On the afternoon of February 26, Eastern International University (EIU) held its regular Vision Alignment program under the theme “International Experience at EIU”, attracting the enthusiastic participation of university leaders, lecturers, and staff.
Dr. Ngô Minh Đức – Rector of the University – delivered remarks at the event
This edition of Vision Alignment aimed to reflect on EIU’s 15-year journey of building globally sustainable educational values. On this occasion, the Office of International Affairs, together with lecturers and staff from relevant departments and faculties, presented how EIU has shaped and enhanced the international educational experience for students, lecturers, and the community — moving towards a future of sustainable and creative development. Each lecturer and staff member at EIU is expected to actively encourage and support students on their journey to becoming global citizens, where challenges come hand in hand with opportunities and rewarding experiences.
Mr. Kiều Mạnh Kha – Head of the Office of International Affairs – shared insights during the program
During the session, the Office of International Affairs provided a summary of EIU’s international cooperation achievements in 2024 and presented the goals and strategies for 2025. Notably, EIU plans to expand internships, study tours, and project-based learning programs in Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan. The university also aims to attract international experiential learning programs and research projects to EIU, in collaboration with global partners such as National University of Singapore, Jeju National University, Asia University, Khon Kaen University, Singapore Polytechnic, and Nanyang Polytechnic. These efforts will create more opportunities for cultural exchange, academic collaboration, and enhance the global competency of students.
Lecturers raised questions for the Office of International Affairs regarding several international cooperation activities planned for 2025
With the vision that by 2030, at least 50% of EIU students will engage in at least one international activity during their academic journey, the university is working closely with global partners to further implement interdisciplinary experiential programs, community projects, and is actively reviewing and updating curricula to facilitate more meaningful international exposure for students.
University leaders, department heads, lecturers, and staff took a group photo to conclude the program
International collaboration plays a pivotal role in enhancing educational quality, broadening career prospects, and fostering holistic development for students. Through these programs, EIU students gain exposure to diverse cultures, international teaching methods, and global research practices — preparing them more effectively for careers in today’s fast-paced, globalized environment, especially within the dynamic context of Bình Dương province./.
