The memorable 14-day learning and cultural exchange journey of 30 students from Eastern International University (EIU) officially came to a close at Singapore Polytechnic (SP), marking the successful conclusion of Phase 1 of the TF SCALE 2025 program. This milestone not only represents a new step in the growing international collaboration between EIU and SP, but also left a deep and lasting impression on all participating students.
Throughout the program, EIU students took part in an intensive Design Thinking course a modern and effective approach to creative problem-solving. Going beyond theory, the students conducted fieldwork and interviews with residents in Keat Hong, Singapore, gaining valuable insights into local community challenges. Together, EIU and SP students engaged in discussions, analysis, and brainstorming to propose practical solutions aimed at improving the quality of life for the local community. The program was a powerful example of learning through action and highlighted the meaningful impact of community-focused education.
