Over 1,600 High School Students Join “EIU Open Day 2025” at Eastern International University

This morning (January 4), more than 1,600 high school students from various provinces and cities gathered at Eastern International University (EIU) to participate in the “EIU Open Day 2025” discovery event organized by the university.

The “EIU Open Day 2025” spans four days (January 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2025) and is expected to welcome over 7,000 students from more than 80 high schools across 12 provinces nationwide. Among them, approximately 2,900 students are from Binh Duong Province, and over 4,000 students from other provinces such as Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, and An Giang.

The event is organized with the aim of helping students and parents better understand the history and development of EIU. It provides essential information to assist students in making informed career choices, introduces advanced and high-quality academic programs, and showcases the value EIU offers its learners. It also creates opportunities for students to explore the university’s campus, facilities, learning environment, and surrounding amenities, as well as engage with faculty members and current students.

High school students and teachers participating in the program

This year’s “EIU Open Day 2025” has attracted the largest number of students and teachers in comparison to previous EIU Open Day events. The strong turnout reflects the growing interest in and recognition of the EIU brand among high school communities across many provinces, especially as the university celebrates its 15th anniversary (2010–2025) this year.

On the first day of the event, through auditorium-based advisory sessions, students and teachers received up-to-date insights into current and future career trends, as well as labor market forecasts in the context of the booming Industry 4.0 era in Binh Duong Province and the Southeast region as a whole. The university also introduced updates regarding admission methods and subject combinations tailored to graduates of the 2018 general education curriculum. Students now have more options when selecting admission combinations, and notably, EIU offers tuition fees that are highly affordable for most Vietnamese families, with tuition rates fixed throughout the student’s course of study upon admission.
