Japan Field Trip 2025: A Memorable Real-World Experience for EIU Students

From May 26 to June 1, 2025, twelve students from the Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Information Technology at Eastern International University (EIU) took part in a field trip to Tokyo, Japan. This annual activity is organized by the university to provide students with opportunities to engage with international environments and learn from advanced education systems.

Throughout the journey, EIU students not only discovered the unique cultural aspects of Japan but also visited universities and enterprises in Tokyo. One of the highlights of the trip was experiencing Japan’s world-renowned public transportation system, known for its safety and efficiency. In addition, students learned about the country’s strict waste-sorting practices and embraced a green lifestyle core values within Japan’s sustainable development strategy. These experiences offered students meaningful lessons beyond the classroom.

For students majoring in Hospitality Management, experiencing the check-in procedures at Japanese hotels was a valuable opportunity to observe and learn from the professional working style, helping them improve their service and management skills in real-world settings.

Lê Phạm Thanh Ngân, a student from the Faculty of Business Administration, shared: “I’m very excited to be part of this field trip to Japan. I hope to gain more practical knowledge and experience in the coming days, which will help prepare me for my future career”.
