On March 9, 2024, the EIU IT Club, in collaboration with the School of Computing and Information Technology (CIT), successfully organized a seminar titled “Career Orientation with Prompt Engineering & Agile Mastery.” The event featured guest speakers Mr. Bui At Hoi – Principal Software Engineer at KMS Technology, and M.Sc. Nguyen Vu Linh – Technical Architect at CyberLogitec. The seminar was attended by IT faculty leaders, lecturers, staff, and a large number of students.
At the seminar, the speakers shared valuable knowledge and experiences that helped students gain deeper insights into the practical skills and qualities technology companies expect from graduates entering the workforce. Among these, mastering the application of Prompt Engineering in filtering large data sources and understanding the operation of the Agile Scrum model in product development were highlighted as key factors that enable students to better adapt to their future careers.
The seminar took place in an engaging atmosphere where students had the opportunity to directly interact with the guest speakers, asking questions related to the topic and learning more about job opportunities at KMS Technology and CyberLogitec. In addition, the speakers’ personal stories about their career journeys served as an inspiring source of motivation, encouraging students to strive harder toward their professional goals.
Through the seminar, students gained a stronger foundation to set clearer goals and directions for their learning and personal development within the field of information technology, especially in today’s rapidly evolving tech era.
The EIU School of Computing and Information Technology, together with the IT Club, will continue to organize more academic seminars and networking events to create opportunities for students to engage with and learn from reputable enterprises. These activities aim to help students build knowledge, develop soft skills, and better prepare for their future careers.
