Enterprises Accompany EIU: Joining Hands to Empower Freshmen’s First Steps

Recently, more than 1,400 freshmen of the 2025 cohort at Eastern International University (EIU) took part in fieldtrips at various businesses, hospitals, and hotels both within and outside Ho Chi Minh City. This activity is part of the university’s well-designed orientation program, aiming to provide students with opportunities to connect and familiarize themselves with real working environments right from their first academic year.

Freshmen’s Fieldtrip at WTC Tower

During the program, students had the opportunity to visit and explore real working environments at various organizations. They observed operational models and production lines, learned about specific job positions, and listened to valuable insights shared by business representatives. Beyond simple observation, many students actively asked questions and engaged in discussions about their fields of interest, demonstrating initiative, curiosity, and a strong desire for professional growth.

With more than 280 enterprises within its Innovation Ecosystem established and developed on campus, EIU provides an ideal environment for students to connect with, learn from, and gain hands-on experience in professional workplaces of reputable domestic and international companies. This also serves as a valuable opportunity for students to enhance their soft skills, expand their professional networks, and, most importantly, build a solid foundation to become full-time employees after graduation.
