From November 2025 to March 2026, Eastern International University (EIU) is pleased to welcome two interns from the College of Local Administration (COLA), Khon Kaen University, Thailand, to participate in a 16-week academic internship program at the Industry 4.0 Innovation Center (IIC).
Thanakorn Yodmaneechot and Natthaphitcha Vaikunaunchit in their internship at IIC
During this period, students Thanakorn Yodmaneechot and Natthaphitcha Vaikunaunchit will work alongside the IIC expert team to conduct research and apply the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) framework within the local context. Their key tasks include analyzing public policy and governance in the context of digital transformation; assessing the current status and readiness of enterprises for transitioning toward Industry 4.0; and developing policy recommendations to enhance innovation capacity and foster the growth of a smart industry ecosystem.

Sharing the same sentiment, Natthaphitcha excitedly remarked: “For me, interning at EIU is a transformative experience that bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application. It is an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone by learning to communicate complex Industry 4.0 concepts to industry professionals.”

This internship program at the IIC offers more than just exposure to a professional working environment and practical insights into governance, public policy, and digital transformation in the Industry 4.0 era; it also expands the scope of academic exchange between EIU and its international partners. We hope that these 16 weeks at EIU will become a beautiful chapter in your youth, filled with memorable experiences regarding the country and people of Vietnam, as well as your companions at EIU.
